Guiseley Sub Aqua Club is a BSAC branch based in Guiseley West Yorkshire.

BSAC is the UK's biggest diving club and provides internationally recognised training, support and development for divers.

Here at GSAC we run courses from beginner to more advanced skills, we dive together and socialise.

We are members of the British Sub Aqua Club, and as such train to their certification standards. We have a number of instructors and assistant instructors, so all new and training divers are supported with a named instructor and assistant instructor pair.

Our Club

Guiseley Sub Aqua Club is based at Aireborough Leisure Centre in Guiseley. Originally known as Aireborough SAC, the club has been in existence since the year 2000.

With members across North Leeds and as far afield as Huddersfield and Silsden, we serve any BSAC members for whom Guiseley is an accessible venue for training and social events.

​We have members from trainee to BSAC Advanced Diver levels - with many members who have joined us having discovered scuba via a PADI course whilst on holiday.

As a club we run courses by BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club). BSAC is a non-profit organisation that award world wide recognised diving skills and courses. For more information please check out the BSAC website here.

Ocean Diver

Ocean diver is our first step on the ladder. You will learn how to dive safely and look after your buddy. At the end of the course you will be qualified to dive to 20m with a worldwide recognised diving qualification.

Any experienced diver knows there is always something to learn or a skill to refresh. We offer training beyond ocean diver and with BSAC you have a range of skill development courses available from instructing to boat handling.
If you are already qualified you can join us. Depending on the organisation and qualifications we can convert your qualifications over to BSAC and happy to provide additional training if required.

Swimming Pools

The club has access to Aireborough pool every Wednesday during term time. Basic training is carried out here and members can practice skills and try out new equipment in a safe environment with our instructors.
